In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Miyamura Patriots.
The Owls (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Timberwolves come into the A/3A District 1 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, East Mountain was nudged by Robertson (Las Vegas, NM), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
The Patriots (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Tigers come into the 4A District 1 battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Aztec was nudged by Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
