In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting St. Mary's Spartans soccer squad scored a good 10-0 triumph over the Winthrop Vikings.
The Spartans now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Arlington Catholic for a Catholic Central - Large test on Monday, September 19. St. Mary's will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Archbishop Williams (Braintree, MA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Winthrop drops to 0-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Gloucester (Gloucester, MA) to meet the Fishermen in a Northeast test on Monday, September 19. The Fishermen come into the test with a record of 6-0. Gloucester won 4-1 in their recent league test against Marblehead (Marblehead, MA)
