The Shiloh Generals softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Gainesville Red Elephants to 2 in the Generals league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Shiloh improves its record to 6-9 on the year. The Generals host Jackson County (Jefferson, GA) to clash with the Panthers in a 6A Region 8 game on Tuesday, September 20. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 5-8. Jackson County lost 4-1 in their recent league game against Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA)

In their next game, the Red Elephants clash with the Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 19. Gainesville will attempt to improve on its 0-19 season record. The Gladiators come into the game with a 2-13 record after their 12-0 league loss to Sprayberry (Marietta, GA).
