Nebraska High School Volleyball - Ansley/Litchfield over Heartland Lutheran

Ansley/Litchfield Spartans (Ansley, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets (Grand Island, NE), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs (Sumner, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 20. Ansley/Litchfield will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Amherst (Amherst, NE).

With the loss, Heartland Lutheran drops to 3-9 on the campaign. The Red hornets host Burwell (Burwell, NE) to face the Longhorns in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 20. The Longhorns go into the contest with a record of 4-5. Burwell lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE)
