The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) and the host Fern Creek Tigers (Louisville, KY), saw Bullitt East's volleyball squad beat Fern Creek by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Bullitt East upgrades its record to 16-4 on the year. The Chargers travel to Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY) to play the Eagles/Banshees in a non-league bout on Monday, September 19. The Eagles/Banshees go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Bethlehem lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Paintsville (Paintsville, KY)

The Tigers now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Meade County for a non-league bout on Monday, September 19. Fern Creek will play a Green Waves squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Frederick Fraize (Cloverport, KY). The Green Waves record now stands at 9-4.
