The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) and the visiting Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI), saw Carlson's volleyball squad beat Taylor by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Carlson upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Marauders travel to Erie-Mason (Erie, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, September 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Erie-Mason won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Summerfield (Petersburg, MI)

The Griffins now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Roosevelt for a Downriver bout on Tuesday, September 20. Taylor will play a Bears squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Bears record now stands at 0-4.
