The Community Christian Academy Warriors volleyball team (Bessemer City, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors (Lake Lure, NC)

The Raptors (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Nebo Crossing Academy (Nebo, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Western Piedmont Athletic challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Nebo Crossing Academy defeated Victory Christian Academy (Gastonia, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy Eagles (Asheville, NC) in a Western Piedmont Athletic challenge, on Monday, September 19. Community Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Challenger (Hickory, NC).
