The Mackay Miners volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Dietrich Blue Devils to 1 in the Miners non-league victory on Thursday.

The Miners now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leadore for a 1A Rocky Mountain game on Saturday, September 17. Mackay will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Rockland (Rockland, ID). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-4.

The Blue Devils (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Glenns Ferry (Glenns Ferry, ID). The Pilots enter the non-league game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Glenns Ferry was dropped by Oakley (Oakley, ID), 3-0, in a league game.
