The North Central Knights held off the host Elkhorn Valley Falcons volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Knights now have a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boyd County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 20. North Central will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Stuart (Stuart, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 4-7.
The Falcons (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Lyons-Decatur Northeast held off Cedar Bluffs (Cedar Bluffs, NE), 3-0, in a non-league test.
