The North Pole Patriots volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Galena Hawks to 0 in the Patriots non-league victory on Thursday.
The Patriots now possess a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Valley for a 4A Mid Alaska game on Saturday, September 24. North Pole will meet a Wolf Pack team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 4-15.
The Hawks (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK). The Ravens enter the 3A Aurora game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Ben Eielson defeated Hutchison (Fairbanks, AK), 3-0, in a league game.
