The George Washington Eagles held off the visiting Science Leadership Academy volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Eagles now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a PPL - Independence test on Tuesday, September 20. George Washington will confront a Lancers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Academy at Palumbo (Philadelphia, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-0.

The (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Carver High School of Engineering & Science (Philadelphia, PA). The enter the PPL - Independence test with a 2-0 record.
