The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers (Waynesfield, OH) and the visiting Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), saw Waynesfield-Goshen's volleyball squad nip Ridgemont by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Waynesfield-Goshen upgrades its record to 4-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Temple Christian (Lima, OH) to play the Pioneers in a Northwest Central bout on Thursday, September 22. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 11-3.

The Golden Gophers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. Ridgemont will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-4.
