The Tanque Verde Hawks (Tucson, AZ) volleyball overcame the visiting Show Low Cougars (Show Low, AZ), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Tanque Verde upgrades its record to 10-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to Thatcher (Thatcher, AZ) to face the Eagles in a 3A - South outing on Tuesday, September 20. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 7-10.

The Cougars now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a 3A - East outing on Friday, September 16. Show Low will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Round Valley (Eagar, AZ). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 5-1.
