In Thursday's non-league battle, the host The King's Academy Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Woodland Wildcats.
The Knights (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Kell (Marietta, GA). The Longhorns come into the non-league battle with a 26-6 record. In their last battle, Kell defeated Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Wildcats encounter the Cass Colonels (White, GA) in a 5A Area 7 battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Woodland will attempt to move on its 4-17 season record. The Colonels come into the battle with a 8-15 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Gilmer (Ellijay, GA).
