Texas High School Football - Alexander sneaks past San Marcos

The Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX) football nudged the host San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), 31-24 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Pioneer Diamondbacks (Mission, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 22. Alexander will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Diamondbacks enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 44-6 non-league win over Valley View (Pharr, TX).

The Rattlers (0-4) will now prepare for their bout against Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Eagle Pass held off Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX), 35-14, in a non-league bout.
