The Bibb County Choctaws held off the host American Christian Academy Patriots football team by a count of 22-20 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Bibb County upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Choctaws travel to Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL) to face the Bears in a 4A Region 3 bout on Friday, September 22. The Bears enter the bout with a record of 2-1. Sipsey Valley won 28-27 in their recent league bout against West Blocton (West Blocton, AL)
The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Hale County (Moundville, AL). The Wildcats enter the 4A Region 3 bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Hale County nudged Holt (Holt, AL), 41-0, in a league bout.
