The Franklin Cougars football team (El Paso, TX), was tipped 16-10 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX)

The Trail Blazers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastlake (El Paso, TX). The Falcons come into the 6A Region I District 1 challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Eastlake nipped Coronado (El Paso, TX), 34-21, in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Socorro for a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Thursday, September 21. Franklin will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 41-21 league loss to Montwood (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
