The Amite School Center Rebels football team (Liberty, MS), was beaten 34-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Columbia Academy Cougars (Columbia, MS)

The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bowling Green (Franklinton, LA). The Buccaneers come into the MAIS 4A District 3 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Bowling Green achieved victory over Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS), 30-20, in a league challenge.

The Rebels now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Rankin Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. Amite School Center will meet a Patriots team coming off a 41-11 league loss to Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 1-3.
