Anson Tigers (Anson, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX), 21-20 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Anson improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hawley (Hawley, TX) to battle the Bearcats in a 2A-1 Region I District 4 test on Friday, September 22. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 2-2. Hawley lost 27-14 in their recent non-league test against Albany (Albany, TX)

With the loss, Haskell drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Windthorst (Windthorst, TX) to battle the Trojans in a 2A-2 Region II District 7 test on Friday, September 22. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 2-1. Windthorst won 20-14 in their recent non-league test against Wheeler (Wheeler, TX)
