    The Bad Axe Hatchets football squad scored 40 points and restricted the host Memphis Yellowjackets to 13 in the Hatchets league victory on Friday.

    The Hatchets now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandusky for a Greater Thumb - East battle on Friday, September 22. Bad Axe will play a Redskins squad coming off a 38-28 league loss to Marlette (Marlette, MI). The Redskins record now stands at 3-1.

    Coming up next, the Yellowjackets play the Ubly Bearcats (Ubly, MI) in a Greater Thumb - East battle, on Friday, September 22. Memphis will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Bearcats enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 56-20 league win over Harbor Beach (Harbor Beach, MI).
