In Friday's non-league match, the host Bald Knob Bulldogs football squad scored a good 41-24 victory over the Barton Bears.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Heber Springs Panthers (Heber Springs, AR) in a 4A Region 2 match, on Friday, September 29. Bald Knob will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Fordyce (Fordyce, AR). The Redbugs enter the 3A Region 6 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Fordyce dropped by Glen Rose (Malvern, AR), 38-7, in a non-league match.
