In Friday's non-league game, the Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY) football team got by the visiting Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY), by a score of 36-35.
The Scotties (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Indians come into the 3A District 2 game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Adair County nipped Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY), 50-28, in a non-league game.
The Trojans now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Green County for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Barren County will meet a Dragons team coming off a 36-6 non-league win over Larue County (Hodgenville, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 4-1.
