The Independence Eagles (Thompson's Station, TN) football overcame the host Beech Buccaneers (Hendersonville, TN), 28-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Ravenwood Raptors (Brentwood, TN) in a 6A Region 6 bout, on Friday, September 22. Independence will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Raptors enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 49-7 league win over Overton (Nashville, TN).
