The Pickens County Tornadoes football squad scored 44 points and restricted the host Berry Wildcats to 7 in the Tornadoes league victory on Friday.

The Tornadoes now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Lamar for a 1A Region 5 battle on Friday, September 22. Pickens County will play a Stallions squad coming off a 42-6 league win over Hubbertville (Fayette, AL). The Stallions record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL) in a 1A Region 5 battle, on Friday, September 22. Berry will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 30-20 league win over Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL).
