In Friday's league match, the host Coleman Comets football squad scored a close 38-34 victory over the Breckenridge Huskies.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI) in a Central Michigan - Blue (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 22.
