In Friday's non-league match, the host Menard Yellowjackets football squad scored a good 56-28 victory over the Bronte Longhorns.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Priddy Pirates (Priddy, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 22. Menard will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 46-32 non-league loss to Gustine (Gustine, TX).
