    • North Carolina High School Football - Lincolnton drops to Bunker Hill

    September 15, 2023: Lincolnton, NC 28092

    In Friday's league game, the Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC) football team knocked off the host Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC), by a final score of 45-37.

    The Bears (4-0) will now prepare for their game against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Warriors come into the 2A Catawba Valley game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, West Caldwell was dropped by Newton-Conover (Newton, NC), 47-14, in a league game.

    The Wolves now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newton-Conover for a 2A Catawba Valley game on Friday, September 22. Lincolnton will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 47-14 league win over West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-2.
