The Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA) football defeated the visiting Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA), 34-20 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Gators face the Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Thursday, September 21. Captain Shreve will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 42-21 non-league loss to Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA).
The Farmers (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Bastrop (Bastrop, LA). The Rams enter the 3A District 1 bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Bastrop was toppled by Ferriday (Ferriday, LA), 28-14, in a non-league bout.
