In Friday's league game, the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) football team knocked off the host Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), by a final score of 32-14.

The Falcons (1-3) will now prepare for their game against South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Raiders come into the South Piedmont 3A game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, South Rowan was dropped by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 63-0, in a league game.

The Cougars now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robinson for a South Piedmont 3A game on Friday, September 22. Carson will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-0 league win over Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.
