Ohio High School Football - De La Salle Collegiate held off by Central Catholic

In Friday's league game, the Central Catholic Fighting Irish (Toledo, OH) football team tipped the visiting De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI), by a score of 28-23.

The Fighting Irish (5-0) will now prepare for their game against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats come into the Freelance game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, St. Ignatius was tipped by Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH), 35-0, in a league game.

The Pilots now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Catholic Central for a Catholic - Central game on Friday, September 22. De La Salle Collegiate will battle a Shamrocks team coming off a 16-14 league win over St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Shamrocks record now stands at 3-1.
