The Central Catholic Eagles football team (Morgan City, LA), was ripped 43-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA)
The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Houma Christian (Houma, LA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Houma Christian trounced Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 49-15, in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Covenant Christian Academy for a 1A District 7 challenge on Friday, September 22. Central Catholic will meet a Lions team coming off a 28-15 non-league loss to Morgan City (Morgan City, LA). The Lions record now stands at 2-1.
