Alabama High School Football - Straughn knocks off Clarke County

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) and the visiting Clarke County Bulldogs (Grove Hill, AL), observed Straughn's football squad thwart Clarke County by a count of 44-18.

The Tigers now own a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ashford for a 3A Region 2 contest on Friday, September 22. Straughn will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 48-6 league loss to Houston Academy (Dothan, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-3.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Millry Wildcats (Millry, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 28. Clarke County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
