The Meek Tigers football team (Arley, AL), was tipped 30-28 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Colbert Heights Wildcats (Tuscumbia, AL)
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clements (Athens, AL). The Colts come into the 3A Region 8 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Clements was tipped by Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL), 61-3, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Phillips for a 1A Region 8 challenge on Friday, September 22. Meek will meet a Bears team coming off a 62-20 league loss to Cherokee (Cherokee, AL). The Bears record now stands at 0-3.
