Texas High School Football - Coleman nips Llano

September 15, 2023: Coleman, TX 76834

In Friday's non-league match, the host Coleman Bluecats football squad scored a close 26-20 victory over the Llano Yellowjackets.

In their next game, the Bluecats clash with the Goldthwaite Eagles (Goldthwaite, TX) in a 2A-1 Region II District 5 match, on Friday, September 22. Coleman will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 35-6 non-league loss to Granger (Granger, TX).

The Yellowjackets (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Cole (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars enter the 3A-1 Region IV District 13 test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Cole was edged by Bandera (Bandera, TX), 35-28, in a non-league test.
