Texas High School Football - Overton smashes Colmesneil

September 15, 2023: Overton, TX 75684

The Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX) football routed the visiting Colmesneil Bulldogs (Colmesneil, TX), 68-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Linden-Kildare Tigers (Linden, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 23. Overton will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 45-8 non-league loss to Union Grove (Gladewater, TX).

The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cushing (Cushing, TX). The Bearkats enter the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Cushing walloped West Hardin (Saratoga, TX), 49-6, in a non-league bout.
