    • Texas High School Football - Ennis trounces Corsicana

    September 15, 2023: Ennis, TX 75119

    In Friday's league match, the host Ennis Lions football squad scored a big 56-8 victory over the Corsicana Tigers.

    In their next game, the Lions clash with the Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 5 match, on Friday, September 22. Ennis will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 68-0 league win over Joshua (Joshua, TX).

    The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Seguin (Arlington, TX). The Cougars enter the 5A-2 Region II District 5 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Seguin was crushed by Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX), 41-13, in a league bout.
