In Friday's non-league match, the host Coweta Tigers football squad scored a good 17-8 victory over the Pryor Tigers.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Glenpool Warriors (Glenpool, OK) in a 5A District 3 match, on Friday, September 22. Coweta will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 21-14 non-league win over Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK).
