North Carolina High School Football - Mooresville overwhelms Cox Mill

September 15, 2023: Mooresville, NC 28115

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) and the visiting Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), observed Mooresville's football squad bounce Cox Mill by a count of 42-3.

The Blue Devils now own a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory Ridge for a 4A Greater Metro contest on Friday, September 22. Mooresville will encounter a Ragin' Bulls squad coming off a 33-28 league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 1-4.

Coming up next, the Chargers encounter the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) in a 4A Greater Metro contest, on Friday, September 22. Cox Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 23-22 league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC).
