    The Cypress Ranch Mustangs football squad scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Cypress Woods Wildcats to 41 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

    The Mustangs now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Springs for a 6A Region II District 16 battle on Friday, September 29. Cypress Ranch will play a Panthers squad coming off a 35-29 league win over Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.

    Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 battle, on Thursday, September 28. Cypress Woods will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.
