Texas High School Football - Dalhart felled by Friona

September 15, 2023: Dalhart, TX 79022

In Friday's non-league game, the Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX) football team were victorious over the host Dalhart Wolves (Dalhart, TX), by a score of 21-7.

The Chieftans (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Farwell (Farwell, TX). The Steers come into the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Farwell knocked off Texico (Texico, NM), 47-22, in a non-league game.

The Wolves now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Borger for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Dalhart will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 75-0 non-league loss to Bushland (Bushland, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.
