The Highland Hornets thwarted the visiting Del Norte Knights football team by a count of 54-32 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Hornets host Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Huskies in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 23. The Huskies go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Hope Christian lost 35-18 in their recent non-league outing against Grants (Grants, NM)

With the loss, Del Norte moves to 0-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Ravens in a non-league outing on Friday, September 22. The Ravens go into the outing with a record of 0-4. Rio Grande lost 57-6 in their recent non-league outing against Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM)
