The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Early College Hornets (Dover, DE) and the visiting DuPont Tigers (Wilmington, DE), observed Early College's football squad bounce DuPont by a count of 38-6.

The Hornets now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. Andrew's for a 1A District 2 contest on Friday, September 22. Early College will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 54-7 non-league win over Tatnall (Wilmington, DE). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, DuPont moves to 0-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Christiana (Newark, DE) to encounter the Vikings in a 1A District 1 outing on Saturday, September 23. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Christiana lost 46-0 in their recent non-league outing against First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE)
