In Friday's non-league match, the host East Beauregard Trojans football squad scored a good 40-12 victory over the Mamou Demons.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Gueydan Bears (Gueydan, LA) in a 1A District 5 match, on Friday, September 22. East Beauregard will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 44-0 non-league loss to Central Private (Baker, LA).
The Demons (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Port Barre (Port Barre, LA). The Red Devils enter the 3A District 4 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Port Barre dropped by Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA), 46-0, in a non-league match.
