The Fitchburg Red Raiders football team (Fitchburg, MA), was ripped 44-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting West Boylston/Tahanto Lions (West Boylston, MA)
The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Assabet Valley RVT (Marlborough, MA). The Aztecs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Assabet Valley RVT was ripped by Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA), 7-2, in a non-league challenge.
The Red Raiders now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shepherd Hill Regional for a Midland Wachusett - B challenge on Friday, September 22. Fitchburg will meet a Rams team coming off a 42-20 non-league win over Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
