The Lake Shore Shorians football team (St. Clair Shores, MI), was knocked off 44-18 in Friday's league challenge with the host Fitzgerald Spartans (Warren, MI)

The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastpointe (Eastpointe, MI). The Shamrocks come into the Macomb Area - Gold challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Eastpointe was knocked off by Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI), 29-14, in a league challenge.

The Shorians now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cousino for a Macomb Area - Gold challenge on Friday, September 22. Lake Shore will meet a Patriots team coming off a 24-20 league loss to Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.
