The Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD) football overcame the host Florence/Henry Falcons (Florence, SD), 58-36 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Coyotes face the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 22. Waverly/South Shore will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
