The Floyd Central Highlanders walloped the host Jeffersonville Red Devils football team by a count of 42-7 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Floyd Central upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Columbus East (Columbus, IN) to confront the Olympians in a Hoosier Hills outing on Friday, September 22. The Olympians go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Columbus East won 42-13 in their recent league outing against New Albany (New Albany, IN)

With the loss, Jeffersonville moves to 0-5 on the season. The Red devils travel to Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN) to confront the Dragons in a non-league outing on Friday, September 22. The Dragons go into the outing with a record of 3-2. Silver Creek won 24-7 in their recent league outing against Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN)
