Ohio High School Football - GlenOak gets by Hoover

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the GlenOak Golden Eagles (Canton, OH) and the visiting Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH), observed GlenOak's football squad edge Hoover by a count of 27-24.

The Golden Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Austintown-Fitch for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 16. GlenOak will play a Falcons squad coming off a 24-21 non-league win over St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the McKinley Bulldogs (Canton, OH) in a Federal contest, on Friday, September 22. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 28-27 league win over Green (Uniontown, OH).
