In their next game, the Indians face the Alto Yellowjackets (Alto, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 22. Groveton will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 63-12 non-league loss to Garrison (Garrison, TX).

The Sandies (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Timpson (Timpson, TX). The Bears enter the 2A-1 Region III District 11 bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Timpson defeated Waskom (Waskom, TX), 63-12, in a non-league bout.
