North Carolina High School Football - Gray's Creek tipped by Purnell Swett

September 15, 2023: Pembroke, NC 28372

The Gray's Creek Bears football team (Hope Mills, NC), was tipped 42-39 in Friday's league challenge with the host Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC)

The Rams (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts come into the 3A/4A United 8 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Cape Fear nipped Lumberton (Lumberton, NC), 42-0, in a league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Seventy-First for a 3A/4A United 8 challenge on Friday, September 22. Gray's Creek will meet a Falcons team coming off a 47-14 league win over South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 4-0.
